Meisha Perrin, M.Ed

Meisha is a writer, educator, and the Executive Director of the Black Montessori Education Fund, an  organization dedicated to making Montessori education more accessible to Black children, educators,  and communities around the world. An accomplished Montessori teacher and program leader, she has  spent over a decade working in Montessori environments globally—most often in Lower Elementary  classrooms when not serving in leadership roles.

Deeply passionate about education, racial equity, environmental sustainability, and holistic health,  Meisha has also dedicated years to grassroots organic farming and ecovillage initiatives across the globe.  Her work in these communities reflects her commitment to increasing access to fresh, local, and organic  foods for all.

A Magna Cum Laude graduate of William Howard Taft University, Meisha holds a Master of Education in  Montessori Education. Through her teaching experiences worldwide, she has gained firsthand insight  into the power of true diversity within Montessori environments and how it strengthens communities.

Her desire to promote culturally relevant and inclusive Montessori materials inspired her to create Montessori Meisha, an online store dedicated to celebrating diversity in Montessori education.
